Valmiki Ramayana 6.99.24 meaning
sukritam dushkritam cha tvam griheetva svam gatim gatah
atmanam anushochami tvadviyogena duhkhitam
You have taken your good and bad deeds with you and gone on to your own destiny. I grieve for myself, left in sorrow without you.
What it means
Each of us carries our own karma forward. Mandodari's grief is honest: those left behind mourn their own loss. Loving someone flawed is still love, and the pain of losing them is real.
Spoken by Mandodari.
