Daily Shlok ("we") makes the Daily Shlok app and this website. This policy explains what we collect.

What stays on your phone

Your reading history, saved verses, streaks, japa counts, city, favourite deity and tithi birthdays are stored on your device. We do not upload them.

What we collect

  • Purchases: handled by Apple and Google through RevenueCat, which tells us whether you have Premium. We never see your card details.
  • Gift codes: when you buy or redeem a gift, we store the code and an anonymous app user ID.
  • Advertising measurement: the app uses the Meta SDK to measure installs from our ads. On iPhone this only happens if you allow tracking.
  • Notifications: daily verse and festival reminders are scheduled on your phone; no account is needed.

Your choices

You can turn off reminders and tracking in your phone's settings, and delete all app data by deleting the app. Questions: support@dailyshlok.com.
