Valmiki Ramayana 6.61.22 meaning
tasmin jeevati veere tu hatam apy-ahatam balam
hanoomaty-ujjhitaprane jeevantopi vayam hatah
As long as that hero Hanuman lives, even a defeated army is not defeated. If Hanuman were to die, we would be as good as dead even while alive.
What it means
Wounded on the battlefield, old Jambavan asks first about Hanuman. One person's spirit and ability can hold up an entire team. Be the kind of presence that keeps others' hope alive.
Spoken by Jambavan.
