mitrabhavena sampraptam na tyajeyam kathanchana
dosho yady-api tasya syat satam etad agarhitam
मित्रभावेन सम्प्राप्तं न त्यजेयं कथंचन।
दोषो यद्यपि तस्य स्यात्सतामेतदगर्हितम्॥
I will never turn away anyone who comes to me as a friend, even if he has faults. Good people do not see this as wrong.
What it means
When advisers doubt Vibhishana, Rama refuses to reject him. Nobody is flawless. Openness toward someone reaching out in good faith is a mark of a big heart, not of weakness.हिंदी में अर्थ

सलाहकार विभीषण पर शक करते हैं, पर राम उन्हें ठुकराने से मना करते हैं। कोई भी दोषरहित नहीं। सच्चे मन से आए इंसान को अपनाना बड़े दिल की निशानी है।
