esha me rama shokantah shokartena niveditah duhkhitoduhkhito vapi sakhyur nityam sakha gatih

Rama, I have told you the full extent of my grief. Whether in sorrow or in joy, a friend is always a friend's refuge.

What it means
Sugriva opens his heart to his new friend. Sharing pain honestly is how trust begins. And a friendship that holds through both good and bad times is one of life's greatest gifts.

Spoken by Sugriva.
