kartavyam yad vayasyena snigdhena cha hitena cha
anuroopam cha yuktam cha kritam sugreeva tat tvaya
कर्तव्यं यद्वयस्येन स्निग्धेन च हितेन च।
अनुरूपं च युक्तं च कृतं सुग्रीव तत्त्वया॥
Sugriva, you have done exactly what a loving friend who wishes me well should do; it was fitting and right.
What it means
Rama thanks Sugriva for lifting him from despair. Saying out loud that someone's support mattered strengthens a friendship. Don't let a friend's kindness pass without recognition.हिंदी में अर्थ
