Valmiki Ramayana 4.24.6 meaning
na kalah kalam atyeti na kalah pariheeyate
svabhavam va samasadya na kashchid ativartate
Time never oversteps time, and time never falls short. No one, once born into their nature, can go beyond it.
What it means
Rama describes time as perfectly exact: it neither rushes nor delays. Things happen when their moment comes. Accepting this rhythm eases our frustration with what we cannot hurry or stop.
Spoken by Rama.
