etad rajyam mama bhratra dattam sannyasavat svayam
yogakshemavahe ch-eme paduke hemabhooshite
tam imam palayishyami raghav-agamanam prati
एतद्राज्यं मम भ्रात्रा दत्तं संन्यासवत्स्वयम्।
योगक्षेमवहे चेमे पादुके हेमभूषिते।
तमिमं पालयिष्यामि राघवागमनं प्रति॥
This kingdom was given to me by my brother himself, as something held in trust. These golden sandals will carry the weight of its welfare. I will guard it until Raghava returns.
What it means
