Valmiki Ramayana 2.104.19 meaning
kamad va tata lobhad va matra tubhyam idam kritam
na tan manasi kartavyam vartitavyam cha matrivat
कामाद्वा तात लोभाद्वा मात्रा तुभ्यमिदं कृतम्।
न तन्मनसि कर्तव्यं वर्तितव्यं च मातृवत्॥
Whether your mother did this out of desire or greed, dear brother, do not hold it in your heart. Treat her as your mother always.
What it means
Rama asks Bharata not to hate Kaikeyi, though she caused all this. Forgiving family, especially those who hurt us, keeps bitterness from poisoning our own lives.हिंदी में अर्थ
हे तात, तुम्हारी माता ने यह चाहे कामना से किया हो या लोभ से, इसे मन में मत रखना। उनके साथ सदा माता जैसा ही व्यवहार करना।
राम भरत से कहते हैं कि कैकेयी से नफ़रत मत करो, भले उन्हीं से यह सब हुआ। परिवार को माफ़ करना कड़वाहट को अपने जीवन में ज़हर बनने से रोकता है।
