My wishes have withered in my heart, my youth has gone, and the talents in my limbs have borne no fruit for lack of anyone to value them. Mighty, merciless Time is coming fast. What now? Ah, I know: there is no other refuge than the feet of Shiva, destroyer of desire.

What it means
When dreams fade and talents go unrecognised, life can feel wasted. In such moments, turning to faith and surrender can give a steadiness that achievement never did. It is never too late to find refuge.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
