O mind, you sink to the underworld, leap past the sky, and roam every direction in your restlessness. Yet how is it that, even by mistake, you never remember the pure Brahman, your own true self, which would bring you peace?

What it means
The mind can travel anywhere in seconds, into fears, fantasies and endless scrolling, but rarely rests in what calms it. Make a habit of returning to your centre, even for a few breaths.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
