Let us eat begged food, wear the open sky as clothing, and sleep on the bare earth. What do we have to do with the rich and powerful?

What it means
Freedom begins when you realise how little you actually need. If you are not dependent on powerful people for your basic comfort, they lose their hold over your choices and your peace.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
