We are content here with bark clothes, you with fine silk. Our contentment is the same; there is no real difference. The poor one is the person whose craving is huge. When the mind is content, who is rich and who is poor?

What it means
Richness is a state of mind more than a bank balance. Someone with little but at peace is wealthier than someone with plenty who always wants more. Measure your life by contentment, not comparison.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
