Friend, blessed are those few who have broken the bonds of worldly life and live at the forest's edge, free from the poisonous snakes of craving in the mind. They spend nights lovely with autumn moonlight filling the sky, their only refuge the thought of good deeds.

What it means
Freedom from inner cravings brings a quiet happiness: moonlit nights, a clear mind, a good conscience. Even in a busy life, you can create small moments like this by letting go of what poisons your thoughts.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
