Now make your living from pure roots and fruits. Make your bed from fresh, generous leaves. Get up, let us go to the forest, where we will never even hear the names of small-minded, foolish rich men whose speech is shaky with the sickness of wealth.

What it means
Sometimes the healthiest choice is to walk away from people and places that drain you, even if it means living more simply. A quieter life with self-respect can be far richer than a busy one without it.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
