Their hand is a pure bowl, the alms gathered by wandering are endless food, the ten directions are their wide clothing, the vast steady earth their bed. Content in hearts that have embraced non-attachment, having given up all neediness, blessed are they; they uproot their karma.

उनका हाथ ही पवित्र पात्र है, घूमकर मिली भिक्षा अक्षय अन्न है, दसों दिशाएँ उनका फैला वस्त्र हैं, विशाल, स्थिर धरती उनका बिस्तर है। अनासक्ति अपनाकर संतुष्ट मन वाले, सारी दीनता त्याग चुके, वे धन्य हैं, वे कर्मों को जड़ से मिटा देते हैं।
जब बहुत कम चाहिए और किसी चीज़ से चिपकाव न हो, तो पूरी दुनिया घर बन जाती है। संतोष और अनासक्ति अभाव नहीं, बल्कि हर जगह घर जैसा महसूस करने का तरीका है।
