Taittiriya Upanishad 3.2.1 meaning
tapasa brahma vijijnasasva
tapo brahm-eti
तपसा ब्रह्म विजिज्ञासस्व ।
तपो ब्रह्मेति ॥
Varuna tells his son: seek to know Brahman through focused, disciplined effort. That focused effort itself is Brahman.
