Taittiriya Upanishad 2.9.1 meaning

etam ha vava na tapati kim aham sadhu n-akaravam kim aham papam akaravam iti

Such a person is no longer tormented by thoughts like: "Why didn't I do the good thing? Why did I do the wrong thing?"

What it means
Regret can replay in the mind for years. Someone who has found inner joy learns from the past but stops being burned by it. Real wisdom brings freedom from endless guilt, not carelessness.

Spoken by Rishi.
