Taittiriya Upanishad 1.11.4 meaning
esha adeshah esha upadeshah esha ved-opanishat
etad anushasanam evam upasitavyam
एष आदेशः । एष उपदेशः । एषा वेदोपनिषत् ।
एतदनुशासनम् । एवमुपासितव्यम् ॥
This is the instruction. This is the advice. This is the secret heart of the Vedas. This is the discipline. Live your life this way.
What it means
After all the advice about honesty, respect and generosity, the teacher says plainly: this is the essence of scripture. The highest teaching is not hidden in rituals; it is in how you treat people every day.हिंदी में अर्थ
यही आदेश है। यही उपदेश है। यही वेदों का सार है। यही अनुशासन है। जीवन इसी तरह जीना चाहिए।
सच्चाई, सम्मान और उदारता की बातें कहने के बाद गुरु कहते हैं: यही शास्त्र का सार है। सबसे ऊँची शिक्षा रोज़ के व्यवहार में छिपी है।
