Subhashitas Subhashita 516 meaning

ito mrityur ito vyadhir ito vipad ito jara chaturanga tulyabala hanti lokam anityata

Death from this side, disease from that side, misfortune here, old age there: impermanence, like an army with four equally strong divisions, strikes down the world.

What it means
No one escapes change from every side. Instead of living in fear of it, let it sharpen your priorities. Say the kind word, make the visit, forgive the old hurt now, while you still can.

Spoken by Traditional.
