Subhashitas Subhashita 497 meaning

bahudh-apy-agamair bhinnah panthanah siddhihetavah tvayy-eva nipatanty-ogha jahnaveeya iv-arnave

The many paths to fulfilment, set apart by different scriptures, all flow into you alone, just as the streams of the Ganga all fall into the ocean.

What it means
Different traditions, different ways to pray, the same destination. When someone walks another spiritual path, there is no need to argue. Like rivers, sincere seekers end up in the same ocean.

Spoken by Kālidāsa.
