In autumn, everything turns white: the earth with kasha grass, the nights with the cool moon, river waters with swans, lakes with lilies, forest edges with flower-laden saptaparna trees, and gardens with jasmine.
What it means
After the monsoon, autumn washes the world clean and bright. Life has such seasons too: after a stormy period, things settle and clarity returns. Notice those white, quiet days when they come.
Spoken by Kālidāsa.
