mata prithivya moortis tu bhrata svo moortir atmanah
आचार्यो ब्रह्मणो मूर्तिः पिता मूर्तिः प्रजापतेः ।
माता पृथिव्या मूर्तिस्तु भ्राता स्वो मूर्तिरात्मनः ॥
The teacher is the image of Brahman, the father is the image of the Creator, the mother is the image of the Earth, and one's own brother is an image of oneself.
What it means
The mother is compared to the Earth because she carries, feeds and forgives without end. Seeing family this way makes everyday care feel sacred, and reminds us that a sibling's hurt is our own hurt.हिंदी में अर्थ
गुरु ब्रह्म का रूप है, पिता प्रजापति का रूप है, माता पृथ्वी का रूप है और अपना भाई अपने ही स्वरूप जैसा है।
माँ को धरती कहा गया क्योंकि वह बिना थके धारण करती है, पोषण देती है और क्षमा करती है। परिवार को ऐसे देखें तो रोज़ की देखभाल पवित्र लगती है, और भाई का दुख अपना लगता है।
