इमं लोकं मातृभक्त्या पितृभक्त्या तु मध्यमम् ।
गुरुशुश्रूषया त्वेव ब्रह्मलोकं समश्नुते ॥
Through devotion to one's mother one wins this world; through devotion to one's father, the middle world; and through serving one's teacher, one reaches the highest world.
