आसन्नान्पुरतो भोगान्दर्शयित्वा पुनः पुनः ।
छागो हरितमुष्ट्येव दूरं नीतोऽस्मि तृष्णया ॥
Craving keeps showing me pleasures that seem just in front of me, again and again. Like a goat led on by a fistful of green grass, I have been dragged far away by it.
