Anyone who wants to rise must first clear away the darkness of anger with clear thinking. Even the sun cannot rise until its light first breaks through the darkness of night.
What it means
Big plans made in anger usually backfire. Before the next step in your career, a relationship or a conflict, let the anger clear first. Like dawn, progress begins by pushing away the dark, not by acting in it.
Spoken by Bhāravi.
