बहुलरजसे विश्वोत्पत्तौ भवाय नमो नमः प्रबलतमसे तत्संहारे हराय नमो नमः। जनसुखकृते सत्त्वोद्रिक्तौ मृडाय नमो नमः प्रमहसि पदे निस्त्रैगुण्ये शिवाय नमो नमः॥

Salutations to Bhava, full of active energy, who creates the world. Salutations to Hara, full of dark power, who dissolves it. Salutations to Mrida, full of goodness, who brings people happiness. Salutations to Shiva, the radiant one beyond all three qualities.

What it means

Creation, care and endings are all part of one divine rhythm. Beginnings excite us, endings scare us, but both are sacred. Beneath all this change lies a peace untouched by any of it.

हिंदी में अर्थ

सृष्टि रचने वाले, रजोगुण से भरे भव को नमन। संहार करने वाले, तमोगुण से भरे हर को नमन। लोगों को सुख देने वाले, सत्त्वगुण से भरे मृड को नमन। तीनों गुणों से परे, तेजस्वी शिव को नमन।

रचना, पालन और अंत, सब एक ही दिव्य लय के हिस्से हैं। शुरुआत रोमांचित करती है, अंत डराता है, पर दोनों पवित्र हैं। इन सब बदलावों के नीचे एक अछूती शांति है।
