O lover of solitude, I bow to you who are nearest and also farthest. O destroyer of desire, I bow to you, the tiniest and also the greatest. O three-eyed one, I bow to you, the oldest and also the youngest. I bow to you who are everything, and beyond everything.
हिंदी में अर्थ
हे एकांत-प्रेमी, तुम्हें नमन जो सबसे पास भी हो और सबसे दूर भी। हे कामदेव को जीतने वाले, तुम्हें नमन जो सबसे सूक्ष्म भी हो और सबसे महान भी। हे त्रिनेत्र, तुम्हें नमन जो सबसे पुराने भी हो और सबसे नए भी। तुम्हें नमन जो सब कुछ हो, और सबसे परे भी।
ईश्वर में सब विरोधी बातें समाई हैं: पास-दूर, छोटा-विशाल, पुराना-नया। जब जीवन विरोधाभासों से भरा लगे, याद रखिए कि सबसे गहरा सत्य दोनों पहलुओं को एक साथ थामे है।
