asiddhartha n-aiva kvachid api sadevasuranare nivartante nityam jagati jayino yasya vishikhah
sa pashyann eesha tvam itarasurasadharanam abhoot smarah smartavyatma na hi vashishu pathyah paribhavah
असिद्धार्था नैव क्वचिदपि सदेवासुरनरे निवर्तन्ते नित्यं जगति जयिनो यस्य विशिखाः।
स पश्यन्नीश त्वामितरसुरसाधारणमभूत्स्मरः स्मर्तव्यात्मा न हि वशिषु पथ्यः परिभवः॥
Kama, the god of desire, whose arrows never failed among gods, demons or humans, looked on you as just another god, and was reduced to a mere memory. Insulting those who have mastered themselves never ends well.
What it means

कामदेव, जिनके बाण देवों, असुरों और मनुष्यों में कभी असफल नहीं हुए, तुम्हें साधारण देवता समझ बैठे, और केवल याद बनकर रह गए। जिन्होंने स्वयं को जीत लिया, उनका अपमान कभी शुभ नहीं होता।
इच्छा लगभग हर लड़ाई जीत लेती है, पर सचमुच संयमी मन से नहीं। आत्म-संयम सबसे मज़बूत ढाल है। और शांत, अनुशासित लोगों को कम आँकना हमेशा भूल होती है।
