tama aseet tamasa gooliham agrepraketam salilam sarvam a idam
tuchchyen-abhv-apihitam yad aseet tapasas tan mahin-ajayat-aikam
तम आसीत्तमसा गूळ्हमग्रेऽप्रकेतं सलिलं सर्वमा इदम्।
तुच्छ्येनाभ्वपिहितं यदासीत्तपसस्तन्महिनाजायतैकम्॥
In the beginning, darkness was hidden by darkness; all this was formless water without any mark. That which was coming into being, wrapped in emptiness, arose as the One through the power of intense heat.

सृष्टि ‘तप’ से शुरू होती है—एकाग्र ऊर्जा और कड़े प्रयास से। हमारे जीवन की हर नई शुरुआत भी अँधेरे और अनिश्चितता से निकलकर लगातार मेहनत से आकार लेती है।
