Trees in the forests always flowered and fruited; elephants and lions lived side by side. Birds and animals forgot their natural hostility and grew in love for one another.
What it means
When people live rightly, even nature seems to settle into harmony. The image of lion and elephant at peace invites us to imagine a world where old rivalries finally give way.How it helps in real life
- With friends: Two friends in your circle have feuded since college. Invite both to your birthday, seat them together, and let the old rivalry soften.
- Helping others: Your colony keeps fighting over stray dogs and cats. Start a small group that feeds and vaccinates them, so neighbours and animals both find peace.
Spoken by Tulsidas.
