Ramcharitmanas 7.121.15 meaning

moh sakal byadhinha kar moola tinha te puni upajahin bahu soola kam bat kaph lobh apara krodh pitta nit chatee jara

Delusion is the root of all the mind's illnesses, and from it come many other pains. Desire is like a wind disorder, boundless greed is like phlegm, and anger is like bile that keeps burning the chest.

What it means
Tulsidas describes desire, greed and anger as diseases of the mind, using the language of Ayurveda. Anger really does 'burn the chest'. Treat your inner health as seriously as your body's.

How it helps in real life
