sanamukh hoi jeev mohi jabaheen janma koti agh nasahin tabaheen
कोटि बिप्र बध लागहिं जाहू। आएँ सरन तजउँ नहिं ताहू।।
सनमुख होइ जीव मोहि जबहीं। जन्म कोटि अघ नासहिं तबहीं।।
Even one guilty of killing countless holy people — if he comes to me for shelter, I do not abandon him. The moment a soul turns to face me, the sins of countless lifetimes are destroyed.

Rama's answer when told to reject Vibhishana. No past is so dark that sincere turning back cannot redeem it. This is the heart of forgiveness — the door is always open to a genuine return.How it helps in real life

जिसे करोड़ों ब्राह्मणों की हत्या का पाप लगा हो, शरण में आने पर मैं उसे भी नहीं त्यागता। जीव जैसे ही मेरे सम्मुख होता है, उसके करोड़ों जन्मों के पाप उसी समय नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
जब साथी विभीषण को ठुकराने को कहते हैं, तब राम यह उत्तर देते हैं। कोई भी अतीत इतना अँधेरा नहीं कि सच्चे मन से लौटने पर माफ़ न हो सके। क्षमा का दरवाज़ा हमेशा खुला है।
