श्रवन सुजसु सुनि आयउँ प्रभु भंजन भव भीर।
त्राहि त्राहि आरति हरन सरन सुखद रघुबीर।।
Hearing of your fame, Lord, I have come — you who end the fear of worldly life. Save me, save me, remover of suffering, Raghubir, who gives joy to those who seek refuge.

विभीषण अपने बलवान भाई को छोड़कर, केवल राम की दयालुता के भरोसे शत्रु के खेमे में आते हैं। सही को चुनना, भले अपनों को छोड़ना पड़े, असली साहस है।
