Ramcharitmanas 4.16.2 meaning

udit agasti panth jal sosha jimi lobhahi soshai santosha sarita sar nirmal jal soha sant hriday jas gat mad moha

When the Agastya star rises, the water on the paths dries up, just as contentment dries up greed. The water in rivers and lakes looks clear and lovely, like a saint's heart free of pride and delusion.

What it means
Greed is like muddy water on the road; contentment dries it up. Once the mud settles, the heart becomes clear like an autumn lake. Being satisfied with enough is a quiet kind of wealth.

How it helps in real life
