सरिता जल जलनिधि महुँ जाई। होई अचल जिमि जिव हरि पाई।।

बूँद-बूँद पानी इकट्ठा होकर तालाब भरता है, जैसे सज्जन के पास धीरे-धीरे सद्गुण आते हैं। नदी का पानी समुद्र में जाकर स्थिर हो जाता है, जैसे जीव भगवान को पाकर अचल हो जाता है।
चरित्र बूँद-बूँद, रोज़ के छोटे फ़ैसलों से बनता है। और जैसे बेचैन नदी समुद्र में जाकर शांत हो जाती है, वैसे ही मन अपने असली ठिकाने पर पहुँचकर शांत होता है।
