Shabari brought the sweetest roots, fruits and berries and offered them to Rama. The Lord ate them with great love, praising them again and again.
What it means
Shabari had nothing grand to offer, only simple forest fruit — yet Rama praised it again and again. What we give with love is never small. God, and good people, value the feeling more than the gift. How it helps in real life
- With friends: An old PG friend gifts you a cheap keychain for your housewarming. Thank him as warmly as you thanked the boss who sent champagne.
- Helping others: Can only give 500 rupees to the flood relief drive? Give it without embarrassment; small help offered with care still counts.
