janam janam rati ram pad yah baradanu na an
I have no desire for wealth, merit or pleasure, nor do I want liberation. Birth after birth, may I have love for Rama's feet; I ask for no other boon.
What it means
Bharata gives up even the highest spiritual goal for love. When love itself is the goal, there is nothing left to chase. Love that wants nothing else is complete in itself. How it helps in real life
- In love & marriage: You can't afford the honeymoon you both planned. Tell your partner the trip was never the point; spending the evening together is.
- When you succeed: Hit your income target and already eyeing the next number? Pause tonight, have dinner with family, and notice nothing is missing right now.
Spoken by Bharata.
