Though Rama is even-minded, without attachment or anger, and takes on no sin, merit, virtue or fault, he has made action the ruling principle of the world: whoever does something tastes its fruit.
What it means
God doesn't play favourites; the world runs on action and consequence. That's fair and freeing: your future is shaped by what you do, starting now.How it helps in real life
- Health & body: You've skipped the gym for three weeks and feel sluggish. There's no one to blame; take a 15-minute walk today and start fresh.
- At work: A colleague got promoted and you're blaming office politics. Ask your manager exactly what you need to do differently, and start this quarter.
Spoken by Brihaspati.
