hani labhu jeevan maranu jasu apajasu bidhi hath
सुनहु भरत भावी प्रबल बिलखि कहेउ मुनिनाथ।
हानि लाभु जीवन मरनु जसु अपजसु बिधि हाथ॥
Listen, Bharata, destiny is strong, said the great sage sadly. Loss and gain, life and death, fame and disgrace are all in the hands of fate.

कुछ बातें हमारे बस में होती ही नहीं। यह मान लेने से राहत मिलती है: अपना पूरा करो, और जो हाथ में नहीं था उसके लिए खुद को मत कोसो।
