srijati tavad asheshagunakaram purusharatnam alankaranam bhuvah
tad api tatkshanabhangi karoti ched ahaha kashtam apanditata vidheh
सृजति तावदशेषगुणकरं पुरुषरत्नमलंकरणं भुवः ।
तदपि तत्क्षणभङ्गि करोति चेदहह कष्टमपण्डितता विधेः ॥
First the creator makes a jewel of a person, full of every virtue, an ornament to the earth. Then, if he makes that person perish in a moment, alas, how foolish the creator is!
What it means
