रविनिशाकरयोर्ग्रहपीडनं गजभुजङ्गमयोरपि बन्धनम् ।
मतिमतां च विलोक्य दरिद्रतां विधिरहो बलवानिति मे मतिः ॥
Seeing the sun and moon seized by eclipses, elephants and snakes held captive, and wise people living in poverty, I've come to think: ah, fate is truly powerful.
