nindantu neetinipuna yadi va stuvantu lakshmeeh samavishatu gachchatu va yatheshtam
ady-aiva va maranam astu yug-antare va nyayyat pathah pravichalanti padam na dheerah
निन्दन्तु नीतिनिपुणा यदि वा स्तुवन्तु लक्ष्मीः समाविशतु गच्छतु वा यथेष्टम् ।
अद्यैव वा मरणमस्तु युगान्तरे वा न्याय्यात्पथः प्रविचलन्ति पदं न धीराः ॥
Let the clever praise or blame; let wealth come or go as it likes; let death come today or ages from now: the steadfast never move a single step from the right path.
