The sun opens the lotuses in the lake; the moon makes the white water lilies bloom; and the cloud gives rain without even being asked. Good people, by themselves, are devoted to the good of others.

What it means
Good people don't wait to be asked before helping. Like sunlight and rain, they give naturally. Look around for someone you can help today without them having to request it.

Spoken by Bhartrihari.
