पापान्निवारयति योजयते हिताय गुह्यं निगूहति गुणान्प्रकटीकरोति । आपद्गतं च न जहाति ददाति काले सन्मित्रलक्षणमिदं प्रवदन्ति सन्तः ॥

A true friend stops you from doing wrong, steers you toward what's good, keeps your secrets, shows off your good qualities, doesn't leave you in trouble, and gives when it's needed. The wise say these are the signs of a real friend.

सच्चा दोस्त वह नहीं जो हर बात में हाँ मिलाए। वह रोकता है, सही राह दिखाता है, राज़ रखता है और मुश्किल में साथ खड़ा रहता है। ऐसे दोस्त खोजिए और खुद भी बनिए।
