rajan dudhukshasi yadi kshitidhenum etam ten-adya vatsam iva lokam amum pushana
tasminsh cha samyag anisham pariposhyamane nanaphalaih phalati kalpalat-eva bhoomih
राजन्दुधुक्षसि यदि क्षितिधेनुमेतां तेनाद्य वत्समिव लोकममुं पुषाण ।
तस्मिंश्च सम्यगनिशं परिपोष्यमाणे नानाफलैः फलति कल्पलतेव भूमिः ॥
O king, if you want to milk this earth like a cow, then first nourish its people as you would a calf. When the people are well cared for, day after day, the land bears all kinds of fruit, like a wish-granting vine.
