adhodho gang-eyam padam upagata stokam athava vivekabhrashtanam bhavati vinipatah shatamukhah
शिरः शार्वं स्वर्गात्पशुपतिशिरस्तः क्षितिधरं महीध्रादुत्तुङ्गादवनिमवनेश्चापि जलधिम् ।
अधोऽधो गङ्गेयं पदमुपगता स्तोकमथवा विवेकभ्रष्टानां भवति विनिपातः शतमुखः ॥
From heaven to Shiva's head, from there to the mountain, from the high mountain to the earth, and from the earth to the ocean, the Ganga kept falling lower and lower. Those who lose good judgement fall in a hundred ways.

एक गलत फ़ैसला अक्सर दूसरे की ओर ले जाता है और फिसलन तेज़ होती है। विवेक ही हमें संभालता है। फिसलते दिखें तो जल्दी रुकें, इससे पहले कि छोटी गिरावट बड़ी बने।
