Mundaka Upanishad 3.1.5 meaning

satyena labhyas tapasa hy esha atma samyagjnanena brahmacharyena nityam antahshareere jyotirmayo hi shubhro yam pashyanti yatayah ksheenadoshah

This Self is reached through truthfulness, self-discipline, right knowledge and a steady life of restraint. It lives within the body, full of light and pure. Those who have worn away their faults see it.

What it means
There is no shortcut to inner clarity. Honesty, discipline and real understanding, practised daily, slowly clear the dust. The light you seek is already inside; practice just reveals it.
