Mundaka Upanishad 2.2.3 meaning

dhanur griheetv-aupanishadam mahastram sharam hy upasanishitam sandhayeeta ayamya tadbhavagatena chetasa lakshyam tad ev-aksharam somya viddhi

Take up the great bow of the Upanishads and fit to it an arrow sharpened by steady meditation. Draw it back with a mind fully absorbed in that, and, my dear, hit the target: the Imperishable.

What it means
Wisdom is not passive reading. Study is your bow, regular practice sharpens your arrow, and wholehearted focus draws it back. Any big goal works this way: tool, practice, focus.

Spoken by Angiras.
