Mundaka Upanishad 2.2.2 meaning

yad archimad yad anubhyonu cha yasminl loka nihita lokinash cha tad etad aksharam brahma sa pranas tad u vanmanah tad etat satyam tad amritam tad veddhavyam somya viddhi

That which shines, which is subtler than the subtlest, in which all worlds and their beings rest: that is the imperishable Brahman. It is life, speech and mind. It is the truth, it is deathless. My dear, that is the target to hit. Know it.

What it means
Life needs a true target. Amid many small goals, the Upanishad points to one that holds everything else together: knowing what is real and lasting. Aim there, and the rest falls into place.
